FRD-CODEM is a technical center dedicated to eco-materials & biobasedmaterials & especially with hemp.
Our 3 000 m² of labs and techical plateforms in Troyes and Amiens (France) focus on :
- turnkey studies (what is hemp industries, reachable markets depending on quality and decortication process, ...) (1&2)
- lab to characterize hemp hurds & fibers with dedicated and robust methods - custom made protocols' development for each markets (1)
- Development of Support decision tools to follow the retting on field and on decortication lines (1)
- Development of materials/products based on hemp for different markets (building (hempcrete or insulation panels), Transport (plastics/composites for automotive/train), Textile, Sports& Leisure, ... for lab scale to industrial scale (1&2)
- lab dedicated to building materials with COFRAC accreditation (accréditation n° 1-7319, portée disponible sur www.cofrac.fr) (2)
