Virginia Industrial Hemp Coalition

The Virginia Hemp Coalition (VHC) is a nonprofit advocacy organization working to advance the industrial hemp industry in Virginia through legislative engagement, education, and stakeholder collaboration. Founded in response to renewed federal and state interest in hemp cultivation, VHC plays a key role in shaping public policy, supporting farmers, and informing consumers and businesses about hemp’s agricultural and economic potential. As one of the primary grassroots organizations in the region, the Virginia Hemp Coalition bridges the gap between policymakers, cultivators, processors, and entrepreneurs. Its mission is to create a vibrant, sustainable hemp industry that benefits rural economies and supports environmental stewardship.
